Provision

I think in my last blog post I was writing about how the B and B has not been as busy as I would have liked it to be.. well my prayers have been answered! As of right now I have 15 nights booked for May, and I have a potential guest for another 3 nights! How awesome is that. And the other really cool thing about this, is that all of the bookings have been made through the B and B Canada website. The site is amazing! I do think that word of mouth and networking is very powerful for starting up new businesses, but I just can't get over the visbilty that we have been getting through the website! So if there is anyone else out there looking to open up a B and B, you need to get your information on the B and B Canada website.

We sorta jumped into this thing with both feet not really sure what to expect, but also knowing that God was working through us and would make it successful. I have definately been a little bit stessed out about whether or not it was going to work, but God has provided for us through these May bookings. And every time I am not sure if it's going to work or am not sure what is going to happen next God has just given me little reminders of the fact that it will work, and that he is with us through this whole journey. He has shown me over and over again, in the last couple of weeks that he will provide the people and the income that we need to make this thing work! I just need to continue to believe it and get to work!

A couple of weekends ago we had our second guests come to the B and B, besides family and close friends. And it went really really well. The couple was great! They were easy going and very friendly. It was an absolute pleasure to be able to serve them some breakfast and get to know them a little bit more. They both gave us compliments on how well the food tasted and how comfy the room was!

I can't wait to see how May turns out with our guests!! Wish me luck!!
